myLot Discussions on Andrew Jackson in the White House | | Anthony Kennedy has made his decision; now let him enforce it! | | Today's infamous 5-4 decision by the U.S. Supreme Court granting terrorists the right to an O.J. trial in U.S. civilian courts cries out for the present Chief Executive to so paraphrase Old Hickory's similar defiance of John Marshall 176 years ago with respect to removal of the Cherokee from Georgia.
"John Marshall has made his decision; now let him enforce it."
The nation survived President Andrew Jackson's defense of his constitutional executive powers against the first Judicial Oligarch. Should President Bush succumb to Justice Kennedy's attempted coup to assume the role of Commander in Chief, it will be much harder for our nation to survive, much less thrive, as it has since 1832. The people being held at Gitmo are illegal enemy combatants and have no right. General George Washington applied the war law that has always allowed illegal enemy combatants operating among civilian populations to be shot on site or summarily executed. Maybe that was our mistake we did not shoot them.

| | History Of Marshal Law In The United States 1812-1871-1914- 1993 - Kent State | | Maybe this is the first time in your life time that you have heard and seen the American people this upset with any administration.
We have spend over one year now wrapped up in the health care talks, the democrats say's just in day's they are prepared to ram their heath care bill right down our throats and they don't give a dam if we choke on it.
Yesterday CNN reported the education budget cut protest may turn out to be the biggest the U.S. has seen in a very long time.
Barack Obama and the left wing liberals are gearing up to get passed illegals obtaining citizenship in the United States, they agree they want this done some time in May or April because of the mid term elections in November 2010.
This article at the link below is about a possible coming marshal law, many people think it will be manufactured by the very govenement who is suppose to be looking out for us.
I don't say I believe or disbelieve what this article is saying,I just want you to review the number of times a United States president has issued marshal law for one reason or the other in our country.
I hope you have educated your self on the events at Kent State and Waco,Texas in both cases American...
| | The Power Behind Obama....why he's in the White House today. | | Conspiracy Theory? Think Again!
There is something behind the throne greater than the king himself.
Sir Wm. Pitt, House of Lords 1770 The world is governed by very different personsages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes.
Benjamin Disraeli, Britsh Prime Minister 1844 The refusal of King George to allow the colonies to operate an honest money system which freed the ordinary man from the clutches of the money manipulators was probably the prime cause of the revolution. (American)
Ben Franklin, American Founding Father I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous than standing armies...if the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of currency...the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of their property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.
Thomas Jefferson 1743-1826 If you want to remain slaves of the bankers and pay for the costs of your own slavery, let them continue to create money and control the nations credit. Sir Josiah Stamp 1880-1941 The real truth of the matter is that a financial element in the large...
| | Private Counterfeiting And Government Produced Money | | If you an I were to privately increased the supply of money to finance our own spending, we would be charged with counterfeiting and go to prison. Well that actually puts it mildly, the FBI would be crashing into our homes and have us pinned down to the floor with a gun behind our heads. The Federal Reserve Bank, on the other hand is the only entity legally permitted to increase the supply of money, to finance Congress' spending. The USA did without the Federal Reserve from 1836, when President Andrew Jackson closed the Second Bank of the United States, to 1913 when Federal Reserve Act was written. Ironically the Federal Reserve came into existence the same time the Income tax came into existence, but that is for a different discussion. During that time period without the Federal Reserve(also we did not have a income tax, I just cannot help myself) we prospered and became one of the world's major economic powers.
My question is if we the citizens cannot just artificially produce dollars then why should government be able to produce as much money as they see fit?

| | Bizarre Presidential Facts | | I subscribe to "Bizarre News Newsletter this is on their page today. I thought it interesting also.+--------------- Bizarre Presidential Facts ---------------+ Abraham Lincoln did not write the Gettysburg Address on
the back of an envelope. In fact, he worked on that
address for two weeks. It was Cicero, not President John F. Kennedy, who first
said words to the effect of, "Ask not what your country
can do for you, but what you can do for your country." Some scholars believe Andrew Jackson was born at sea in
1755, not 1767, and thus was not eligible to be president
of the U.S. However, at least two states, North Carolina
and South Carolina, claim his birth place, about a mile
apart. In 1824, Andrew Jackson received more popular votes than
John Adams, yet lost the election. The vote was so close
that neither candidate received a majority of the
electoral votes. The decision then went to the House of
Representatives, which elected Adams. Zachary Taylor, twelfth president of the U.S., did not
vote until he was sixty-two. He did not even vote in his
own election. President Ulysses S. Grant was once arrested during

family physician approached Mrs. Jackson to say, "You're
looking wonderful tonite, Rachel! What keeps you so radiant
and effervescent?""Having such a popular husband, of course.""Surely there must be more to it than that, madam.""Well, there's Old Hickory's ery, doc."
